Did you get an answer to your question regarding the problem with the
display? I have a similar problem, the display becomes white.Used this model for over 6 months and only problem is that the battery
doesn't seem to last long before recharging. Some times it turns itself
off and when turned on it has low battery reading after only 2 days even
